A little bit about me:
I grew up in a small town on the banks of the Mississippi River. Raised by an artistic family, my father is a musician and my Grandmother was a painter, creativity was instilled in me at an early age. At some point early on I picked up a camera….and the rest is history.
I recently married the love of my life, Dominic, this fall. I couldn’t be happier to be spending the rest of my life with this man - until we’re old and wrinkly and surrounded by our grandchildren. We live in Saint Louis with our little pup, Crouton. He is our dog child! I have a habit of taking way too many photographs of Crouton, especially photographs of him sleeping on Dominic, but how could anyone resist?? Together, we make one little happy family!
I’m a lover of warm weather and sunsets, the prettiest time of day when the falling light creates a beautiful milky haze over the earth. Some other simple things that make me smile from ear to ear include: boating, wakeboarding, Wilco, BBQs, vanilla frozen yogurt, and summer nights spent sitting on our front porch. I could never get enough of all those things!
A little bit about my work:
I LOVE my job! I am so blessed to wake up every morning loving what I do. It's an honor to be able to capture the special moments in peoples’ lives. I am truly privileged!
Great love does not happen everyday, and when great love happens it always has a story. These are the love stories that make you weak in the knees, and I know I get that warm fuzzy feeling from them. C’mon you know that feeling! One of my favorite parts about photographing weddings is the fact that I get to tell the real love stories of my clients through my images. These are the images they will cherish for the rest of their lives, and I am truly honored when my clients choose me to capture them.
I am not a traditional wedding photographer; my images are heartfelt, timeless, and inspired by an artistic vision. I absolutely love getting to know my clients! I hope to create freindships and relationships with them before the wedding day, so that they feel comfortable in front of the camera. By balancing friendship with professionalism I am able to create photographs that tell my clients' unique story; and these images will come to life in their homes!

Working with Laura was such a great experience for our wedding photography. Not only was she prompt in her responses and was happy to answer my many questions, but she was so friendly and easygoing.
